I wrote the UI text, user guides, and release notes for Oracle Health’s AI-assisted revenue cycle management products, including Denial Management, Intelligent Prior Authorization, and Insurance Coverage.
To document these products, I interviewed engineers and clinical consultants to understand the healthcare workflows they support, then translated that into user guides written for hospital and clinic staff. The audience for these guides is primarily case managers at large hospitals advocating for health insurance claim approval on behalf of patients.
Denial Management
Section titled “Denial Management”Denial Management helps case managers track and resolve claim denials. An AI agent automatically prepares denial appeal letters for the case manager to review. I wrote the Agent Case Manager User Guide and release notes for this product.
Intelligent Prior Authorization
Section titled “Intelligent Prior Authorization”Intelligent Prior Authorization streamlines the prior authorization process for provider staff submitting requests to payers. I wrote the Provider User Guide and release notes for this product.
Insurance Coverage
Section titled “Insurance Coverage”Insurance Coverage helps registration and revenue cycle staff verify patient insurance eligibility before care is delivered. The product identifies applicable benefits, detects payers that may have been missed during registration, and determines expected copays to support billing and collections. I wrote the release notes for this product.
